Ferrari decided to keep away from all fancy press conferences and events in the United States for the 458 Italia. The company’s new mid-engined V8 was also kept away from all the major auto shows.

There was a private party ad auction held in Southern California but of course, that was strictly for the celebrities and top-notch clients.

Ferrari finally did put the 458 Italia on display to the public near the small town of Tooele, Utah where Miller Motorsports Park was hosting the second Ferrari Challenge event of the year.
