Lexus had planned to keep things extremely exclusive when it came to the LFA by producing only 500 units, but for some reason they thought that wasn’t exclusive enough. So, they have now announced a special edition Nürburgring Package and for the extra touch of exclusivity they will only make 50 of these to celebrate the car’s participation in the 24 hours of Nürburgring.

Exclusivity comes with a price and so does this Limited Edition LFA.

The Limited edition will get a new large front splitter, dive panes and a fixed rear wing that is similar to the race car.

Such exclusivity comes with a price tag and if you want to be a proud owner of one of the 50 LFAs then be willing to shell out $70,000. The standard LFA costs $375,000 and in addition to this package, it goes up to $445,000 and if you have another $20,000 throw that in as well if you like yours to be painted in the “exclusive” matte black.

There have been a few mechanical changes, which include a sport-tuned suspension, a unique set of wheels and carbon fiber body kit.

The tweaked 4.8-liter V10 and a faster six-speed sequential gearbox that reduces gearshift time by 50 milliseconds will offer 10 horsepower more bringing it to a total of 562 horsepower.

“This Nürburgring Package builds on the track-ready Lexus supercar with styling cues from the 24 Hours of Nürburgring prototype LFA racecar,” said Mark Templin, Lexus Division group vice president and general manager. “Driving enthusiasts will also appreciate the Nürburgring Package’s performance enhancements that were proven on the legendary German track.”

The limited edition LFA with the Nürburgring Package comes in four exterior color options that include whitest white, orange, black and matte black. Black, red, and violet are the options for the inside colors.
