The BMW 1 series upgrade or more commonly known M1 has been in the news for quite some time now. We’ve also heard rumors that there might not be one at all. Although now it does seem like BMW is planning to come up with an upgraded version of their ever-so-successful 1 series.

Reports suggest that a 3.0-liter turbocharged 6-cylinder engine that will probably generate up to 326 horsepower and 450 Nm or torque could power the ‘M1’. The engine will be mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
