Jorge Lorenzo secured his first pole position for this MotoGP at Silverstone in Great Britan say the Qualifying results.

The Fiat Yamaha rider will be starting the Air Asia British GP from pole position.

A very eventful Qualifying session saw Randy de Puniet stun the rest of the field with his brilliant riding skills as he almost gave Lorenzo a threat of Pole but the star independent rider will start second Dani Pedrosa,.  will start third after an impressive display.  Randy and Dani both experienced falls, but claimed fit to ride in the final.
