  • Mark Webber to start first in Malaysia

         by Aman Chaudhry

Red Bull driver Mark Webber secured pole position is today’s qualifying at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. Though rain damped and interrupted the race, that did not stop Webber. His choice of intermediate tyres helped him completely.

Parked next to Webber in the front row for tommow’s final race will be Mercedes’ Nico Roseberg while Sebatian Vettel starts third.

Rain started just before the session and left the track soaked and slippery while some parts remained dry.

The rain got the better of both Ferraris and McLarens pushing them outside the top 16 grid.

None of the drivers expected this and only few got satisfactory laps leaving drivers like Button to slip down to 17th position as well.

The track saw a lot of cars spinning around and sliding through gravel making in a very exciting race.
